Resmi Nair: Kerala’s first bikini model, Resmi’s career began in Chennai, where she arrived in pursuit of an engineering degree and something better than the ‘pathetic attitude of people towards anything new’ in her hometown of Pathanapuram, in Kollam district. Beginning with a film shoot for a friend in a two-piece swimsuit and further encouraged by her husband Rahul, Resmi committed full-time to her new found passion. Rahul, a media and events professional, continues to manage Resmi’s career and often accompanies her to shoots.
